Black Owned Socks USA — Support Black-Owned Sock Brands
Black Owned Socks USA
Afropop Socks is a Black-owned sock brand founded by Isaac Prempeh, a British-Ghanaian entrepreneur based in London. We are one of the few Black-owned sock brands in the world to be stocked at major cultural institutions — including the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) in Washington DC, the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA), Tate Modern, V&A Museum, Natural History Museum, and Selfridges.
When you buy Afropop Socks, you are supporting a Black-owned business that reinvests in African cultural heritage. A portion of every sale supports African educational initiatives, and our designs are created in collaboration with African cultural experts to ensure authenticity and accuracy.
Why Buy Black-Owned Socks?
The African American community spends over $1.4 trillion annually — but less than 2% of that spending goes to Black-owned businesses. Every Afropop Socks purchase is a direct investment in Black entrepreneurship, African cultural preservation, and the growing ecosystem of Black-owned businesses in the USA and UK.
