My mum always wore these beautiful, eclectic African prints. Growing up in London, I never saw that energy reflected in the things I could actually wear every day. So in 2019, just before the world shut down, I started Afropop Socks.

 

The idea was simple: take the bold, colourful patterns of African heritage and put them on something everyone wears but nobody thinks about. Every pair tells a story — from Kente cloth to Adinkra symbols to the streets of Soweto.

 

Today we are stocked in the Smithsonian, the Tate, Selfridges, and hundreds of independent stores. But this page is just for you — the people who found us through my video and wanted to know more.

What's in the mystery box?

10 pairs of patterned cotton blend socks from our full collection. I will include a mix of our most popular designs - no two boxes are the same. Great for gifting, or trying out our socks for the first time.

What kind of socks will I get?

All of our designs are standard crew fitting socks. They are all made from a high quality, soft combed cotton blend. All featuring designs inspired by the rich art, culture and symbolism found across the African continent.

When will I get my delivery?

We aim to dispatch your delivery within 1-2 days of your order.

 

USA delivery: 5-10 days (no tariffs)

Canada delivery: 5-14 days

International delivery: 7-14 days

First of all... no it's not a silly question, and the answer is absolutely yes you can. Our socks are for everyone! Unisex designs inspired by the continent. A fun and authentic way to show pride or appreciation of African culture.
