Our Impact — Celebrating African Heritage, Supporting African Communities

Afropop Socks is a Black-owned London brand with a mission beyond fashion. Every pair of socks we sell celebrates African cultural heritage — the Kente cloth of Ghanaian royalty, the Adinkra symbols of the Akan people, the Maasai warrior patterns of East Africa. But our impact goes further.

Our Charity Partnership

Afropop Socks is proud to partner with the Africa Educational Trust — a UK charity that has been providing education and training in Africa and for African communities since 1957. For every 10 pairs of socks sold, we contribute to educational programmes that preserve African cultural heritage and support the next generation of African leaders.

What Your Purchase Supports

  • Educational programmes in East and West Africa
  • Cultural heritage preservation initiatives
  • Scholarships for African students in the UK
  • Community arts and cultural programmes

Stocked at Tate Modern, V&A Museum, Natural History Museum, Barbican, Selfridges (UK) and Smithsonian NMAAHC, VMFA (USA) — we are the most culturally significant sock brand in the world.
